Job Title: Recruiter Location: 5100 Tice St. (Fort Myers, FL) Employment Type: Full-Time / Salary / Exempt Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a proactive and people‑focused Recruiter to support organization‑wide staffing needs and help attract talent aligned with our mission. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for full‑cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, evaluating, and screening candidates to meet workforce objectives across diverse operations. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, recruiting experience, and the ability to build relationships internally and externally while supporting Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community. Key Responsibilities: Manage full‑cycle recruitment for open positions to meet staffing goals and timelines. Source candidates using applicant tracking systems, social media platforms, community partnerships, and recruitment events. Screen, phone interview, and evaluate candidates by reviewing qualifications. Coordinate and facilitate new‑hire orientation sessions. Attend career events, job fairs, and outreach activities as needed. Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and hiring priorities. Provide excellent customer service to hiring managers, applicants, and internal stakeholders. Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all HR policies and procedures. Maintain accurate record keeping of open/closed positions. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR. Experience in a retail environment is a strong plus! Technical & Computer Skills: Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite and modern digital recruiting tools. Tech-savvy with a strong ability to master new platforms quickly. Communication & Interpersonal: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to connect effectively with candidates and team members from diverse backgrounds. Organization & Adaptability: Highly organized, self-starter, ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities simultaneously, deliver results under tight deadlines, and thrive both independently and collaboratively. Flexibility & Travel: Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation required for local travel to job fairs, store locations, and community events. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required. Bilingual skills preferred. Why Goodwill?
