Bilingual Candidates are encouraged to apply. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Recruiting, interviewing and hiring of potential employees for all departments. - Responsible for sourcing and screening resumes. - Familiarity with job hunting sites and job boards. - Perform initial interviews for walk-in applicants. - Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Skills and Qualifications: - Compassion for our animals, customers, and employees. - Efficient and thorough record-keeping and organizational skills. - 1-2 years if related experience - High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including outlook. - Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Physical Demands: - Employee is frequently and regularly required to lift and carry in excess 20 pounds stoop, kneel or bend. The ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time is required. - Filing, typing, the ability to use a computer keyboard and monitor and to communicate orally and in writing is required.
