# Radiologic Technologist **Healthway Cancer Care Hospital** · Taguig · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 9 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job description: The Radiologic Technologist (RRT) conducts standard radiographic examinations being performed at the assigned sections of the Radiology Department. - Prepares automatic inject with proper contrast for the procedure, adjusting all setting parameters according to the procedure and radiologist preference and performs contrast administration in a safe manner. - Performs all diagnostic examinations and double checks the identification of the patient against the request provided; - Explains the prescribed procedure to the patient (including what will be done and what is expected of them) prior to securing the consent of the patient. - Performs radiologic exams such as X ray and fluoroscopy and can perform more complex procedure such as CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine. - Reports technical problem to the Chief Radiologic Technologist or OIC and records incident in the preventive maintenance logbook stating the date of the breakdown, the nature and intervention done. - Positions and transfers patients comfortably. - Accounts and endorse all accessories, films and other supplies used in the area to the incoming staff on duty. - Complies with Personnel policies of the center on attendance, leaves, mandatory meetings, etc. - Technologists are responsible for protecting themselves, patients and co-workers from unnecessary radiation. - Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to government guidelines and regulations. - Handles administrative and clerical tasks for the unit (reception, stocks monitoring and ordering in line with budget, admin reports, hospital information system, etc.) - Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology - Registered Radiologic Technologist - Knowledgeable on the following: Radiographic positioning, Radiographic Techniques, Radiographic Physics, Radiographic Biology - At least one (1) year of experience in ultrasound and other general radiography procedures in a hospital setting - Knowledge in Picture Archiving and Communication System - Willing to work in Arca South, Taguig City on a rotating/shifting schedule Benefits: - Opportunities for promotion - Paid training - Promotion to permanent employee Work Location: In person
