# Radiation Oncology Doctor **Jus' Onco Affordable Cancer Care** · Hyderabad, Telangana · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Radiation Oncology Doctor — Job Description Location: Hyderabad, Telangana Department: Radiation Oncology Employment Type: Full-time Role Summary The Radiation Oncology Doctor will evaluate and manage patients with cancer, develop individualized radiation-treatment plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment and follow-up. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and determine suitability for radiation therapy. Review clinical history, imaging, pathology, staging, and previous treatments. Develop treatment plans using techniques such as 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SRS/SBRT, and brachytherapy. Perform simulation, target-volume delineation, contouring, and plan evaluation. Prescribe radiation dose and monitor treatment delivery. Manage treatment-related side effects, emergencies, and supportive-care needs. Conduct on-treatment reviews and post-treatment follow-ups. Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists. Counsel patients and families regarding treatment, expected outcomes, and potential risks. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow radiation-safety and quality-assurance protocols. Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, research, and continuing medical education. Qualifications MBBS from a recognized institution. MD/DNB in Radiation Oncology or Radiotherapy. Valid registration with the Telangana Medical Council. Relevant clinical experience in a recognized oncology centre or hospital. Preferred Skills Experience with modern radiotherapy planning and delivery systems. Strong clinical judgment and patient-counselling abilities. Effective communication and multidisciplinary teamwork. Knowledge of radiation safety, oncology protocols, and hospital accreditation standards. Telugu and Hindi language skills are advantageous. Experience Junior Consultant: 0–3 years after postgraduate qualification. Consultant/Senior Consultant: 3–8+ years, depending on the hospital’s requirements. Salary Not a constraint for the right candidate. Salary commensurate with the experience and current salary. Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
