Quantity Surveyor with atleast 5 Years UAE Experience (QS) Btech Civil

We Urbanism Planning Architecture Consultancy, Abu Dhabi is looking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Engineering Consultancy team. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering and relevant working experience in the UAE, preferably within an engineering consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for building and infrastructure projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare cost plans, budget estimates, and detailed cost breakdowns.
• Evaluate contractor and subcontractor quotations and prepare tender comparison reports.
• Assist in reviewing interim payment applications, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential cost variations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors on commercial and contractual matters.
• Prepare cost reports and other quantity surveying documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable UAE standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant UAE working experience in Quantity Surveying 5 Years.
• Experience in an engineering consultancy firm is mandatory or strongly preferred .
• Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices, contractual procedures, and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of relevant quantity surveying and estimation software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
