You will manage the financial, contractual, and procurement aspects of our construction and infrastructure projects—ensuring strict cost control, accurate progress valuations, and proactive risk management from project inception through final account settlement. Key Responsibilities Cost Estimation & BOQ: Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and comprehensive tender documentation. Valuations & Certificates: Conduct site quantity measurements, evaluate subcontractor progress applications, and issue monthly payment certificates. Contract Administration: Manage variation claims, RFPs, and Extension of Time (EOT) requests in accordance with FIDIC contract conditions. Cost Control & CVR: Monitor live project expenditure, maintain cash flow forecasts, and prepare monthly Cost-Value Reconciliations (CVR) for executive leadership. Subcontractor Management: Perform commercial comparisons, negotiate rates, and draft robust subcontractor agreements. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management. Experience: 3 to 7+ years of quantity surveying experience within the UAE/GCC construction and infrastructure sectors. Contractual Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of standard construction contracts, specifically FIDIC . Software Skills: High proficiency in estimation/measurement software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift, AutoCAD ) and advanced MS Excel. Local Expertise: Familiarity with Abu Dhabi municipal regulations, authority standards, and regional vendor rates.
