# Quantity Surveyor – Civil | 5+ Years Experience **DNA** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Quantity Surveyor – Civil | 5+ Years Experience Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry to manage quantity surveying, cost control, estimation, contracts, and commercial activities for civil construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) , quantity take-offs, and cost estimates. Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and tender documents. Prepare pre and post tender submissions, quotations, and cost comparisons . Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and overall commercial performance. Prepare and evaluate variation orders, interim payment applications, and final accounts . Measure completed works at site and verify quantities with site engineers and subcontractors. Review subcontractor quotations, invoices, and payment applications. Prepare material and labour cost analysis . Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and project/site teams. Maintain proper records of quantities, costs, variations, and project documentation. Assist in contract administration, claims, and commercial negotiations . Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor expenditure against the approved budget. Ensure all quantities and measurements comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Prepare regular cost reports and commercial reports for management. Assist in Site Visit Candidate Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil engineer , Quantity Surveying . Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction/contracting. Strong experience in BOQ, estimation, quantity take-off, cost control, and variations . Good knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and specifications . Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings . Experience with Excel and quantity surveying/cost estimation software . Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and documentation skills. UAE/GCC construction experience is an advantage.
