The ideal candidate should have strong experience in civil construction, renovation, refurbishment, fit-out, and general contracting projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications. Prepare and review BOQs. Prepare project cost estimates and budgets. Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations. Prepare tender documentation and pricing. Review drawings and identify cost implications. Prepare client quotations and commercial proposals. Monitor project costs against approved budgets. Prepare interim payment applications. Evaluate subcontractor payment claims. Prepare variation claims and supporting documentation. Maintain proper records of quantities, rates, variations, and costs. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance teams. Conduct site measurements when required. Assist in final account preparation and reconciliation. Review contract commercial terms. Identify opportunities for cost savings without affecting project quality. Maintain accurate commercial reports and project cost records. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience. UAE construction experience preferred. Strong experience in quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation. Good understanding of civil, renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out works. Strong knowledge of construction materials and market rates. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity surveying software. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Good commercial awareness. Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
