He/she monitors the project to ensure budgetary concerns are accommodated in completing the project. He/she negotiates with suppliers and contractors and proposes suitable courses of action to reduce the overall cost of a project. Duties and Responsibilities: Manages the bidding process including the Pre-Bid Meeting, Site Inspection, Clarification Meeting, and Preparation of the technical and commercial proposal with a summary of qualifications. Review building, construction, or architectural plans and prepare quantity needs and cost of materials. Handles the Awarded Process primarily the validation of glass and aluminum cutting list. Gather data from the operation’s department and quantification to verify the progress of accomplishments of the project. Prepare the variation order (tabulation) e.g., reconciliation. Prepare the tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other relevant documents to be presented to the clients. Create cost control, cost-benefit analysis, and risk analysis evaluations. Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Perform any tasks that may be given from time to time by the department head. Qualifications: Education & Training: Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage Work Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of working experience in bidding processes, and quantity surveying. Has work experience in Facade construction. Familiarity with aluminum structures, architecture, and production processes.
