The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, estimation, cost control, valuations, variations, subcontractor evaluation, and commercial documentation. Experience in villa projects, residential buildings, commercial projects, high-rise buildings, or general construction will be highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and cost plans . Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications. Conduct site measurements and verify quantities of completed works. Prepare and evaluate interim payment applications, valuations, and progress claims. Monitor project costs, budgets, material quantities, wastage, and expenditures. Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. Prepare comparative statements and assist with commercial evaluations. Evaluate and price variations, change orders, additional works, and site instructions. Assist with tender preparation, procurement, and contract administration. Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify potential cost overruns. Prepare monthly cost and commercial reports. Assist in preparation of final accounts and construction claims. Maintain accurate records of measurements, costs, contracts, variations, claims, and payments. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Requirements Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management , or a related field. 3–7 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, estimation, costing, valuations, variations, and final accounts . Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings. Good understanding of construction materials, methods, labor rates, and subcontractor pricing. Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial procedures. Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD ; experience with QS/estimation software is an advantage. Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation, documentation, and communication skills. Bahrain construction experience is a must. Must be currently available in Bahrain. Immediate joiner is strongly preferred. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in villa construction, high-rise buildings, residential/commercial projects, fit-out, or general contracting will be highly considered.
