Role Overview We are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer to support quality control and inspection activities across our manufacturing operations, including injection moulded components and electromechanical assemblies (limit switches, proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors). The role ensures products meet defined quality standards and customer specifications at every stage — incoming materials, in-process, and final inspection. Key Responsibilities Injection Moulding & In-Process Quality Perform in-process and final inspection of injection moulded components Monitor product quality during production runs Identify and report moulding defects such as flash, short shot, sink marks, warpage, etc. Assist in new product trials and quality validation for moulded parts General Quality Assurance Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of limit switches, proximity sensors, and photoelectric sensors as per defined quality standards Handle measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other gauges) Read and interpret engineering drawings Maintain and update inspection records and quality documentation Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues Assist in calibration and maintenance of testing/measuring instruments Coordinate with production, moulding, and design teams to resolve quality problems on the shop floor Ensure compliance with IEC 60529, EN 50041, DIN 40050, and other applicable standards Support internal audits and ISO 9001 quality management system requirements Prepare quality data reports (rejection rates, defect trends, etc.) for management review Support customer complaint investigation and closure Skills Required Basic knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes Ability to read engineering drawings Understanding of basic quality tools (5 Why, Fishbone, PDCA, SPC) Attention to detail and strong observation skills Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills Proficiency in MS Excel/Word; SAP or ERP exposure a plus Preferred Experience in the plastic moulding or electromechanical manufacturing industry Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems Familiarity with quality documentation practices What We Offer Hands-on exposure to precision electromechanical and plastic component manufacturing Mentorship from experienced quality and engineering professionals Career growth within an established, German-technology-backed manufacturer Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
