# Quality Engineer **Oscar Interiors** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Quality Engineer (Construction / Interior Fit-Out) Location: Abu Dhabi Job Summary: Responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure construction and interior fit-out works comply with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards. Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures. Conduct inspections of construction materials, workmanship, and completed activities. Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs). Review technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and project managers regarding quality requirements. Identify non-conformities and prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of quality issues. Maintain inspection records, quality documentation, test reports, and material approvals. Conduct site audits to verify compliance with project quality standards. Ensure proper material storage, handling, and installation procedures. Assist in preparing project handover documents and quality completion reports. Required Skills: QA/QC documentation, inspection procedures, NCR management, technical drawing interpretation, MS Office, and knowledge of ISO 9001 principles. Key Skills & Requirements - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering. - Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, production, or regulated quality environment. - Technical Proficiencies: Data analysis using tools like Minitab, reading technical drawings, and applying Six Sigma or Lean principles. - Certifications: Preferred credentials include ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt. - Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication abilities. - Strong organizational and follow-up skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred. - UAE experience in interior design is an advantage. - Arabic Speaker only To Apply: - Please send your updated CV odid2003@gmail.com with the subject “Quality Engineer”, along with your current location.
