Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Quality Engineer with a P. Eng designation or EIT. The role involves ensuring our products meet top quality standards through thorough testing, inspection, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards. Conduct product inspections and tests at various production stages. Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to address quality issues. Maintain detailed documentation of quality control activities. Train and mentor production staff on quality control processes. Participate in the development and review of product specifications. Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality control. Participate and coordinate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Participate and coordinate the Team Oriented Problem Solving (corrective and preventive actions) Coordinate and responsible for PPAP submissions, including preparation of Process flow, Control plan and PFMEA, within specified timeframe Coordinate project activities with other department's personnel to facilitate participation of appropriate staff in project completion Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation. Or EIT Proven experience in a quality control role in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Knowledge of quality control methodologies and standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Lean). Proficiency with quality control software and tools. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
