This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands precast/GRC panel production end-to-end — from raw material and casting quality to site installation and final handover — and who can bring strong discipline to wastage control in a multi-subcontractor environment. Key Responsibilities Plant & Manufacturing QC Oversee QC across mix design, casting, curing, and dimensional/surface inspection of precast panels Implement and maintain ITPs, MIRs, and NCR systems across production Conduct vendor/raw material quality audits (cement, GRC fiber, insulation cores, etc.) Site Installation QC Lead pre-installation panel inspections at offloading to document condition and fix accountability for transit/handling damage Enforce correct lifting, rigging, and storage protocols across all subcontractor crews Monitor installation tolerances — plumb, level, alignment, joint width — in real time Inspect installation of accessories (brackets, anchors, sealants, insulation strips) to ensure no shortcuts by subcontractors Wastage & Subcontractor Control Track panel wastage by batch and by subcontractor; root-cause every rejection (factory defect / transit damage / mishandling / design mismatch) Monitor accessory issuance and consumption against theoretical usage to control material leakage Set and enforce wastage benchmarks per subcontractor; report trends monthly to management Work with Contracts/Procurement to build accountability clauses for subcontractor-caused damage Team & Compliance Build and manage a QA-QC team covering both factory and multiple concurrent project sites Maintain ISO 9001 QMS compliance and represent the company in client/consultant quality audits Coordinate closely with Production, Design, and Project Management on quality matters Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred) 12–15+ years of total QA-QC experience, including 5+ years specifically in precast concrete/GRC/GRP panel manufacturing Demonstrated experience handling both factory and site installation QC, ideally in the UAE/GCC market Strong working knowledge of ACI/PCI/ASTM/BS EN standards and local authority approval requirements (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees) Proven track record managing quality across multiple subcontractors, with a clear focus on wastage reduction ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred; Six Sigma/Lean exposure a plus Strong documentation discipline and confident, assertive communication with subcontractors, consultants, and clients What We're Looking For Someone who treats wastage control as seriously as quality control — who can walk into a subcontractor-heavy site, spot where panels and accessories are leaking value, and fix it through process and accountability, not just inspection.
