This role focuses on quality control, defect analysis, process improvement, and compliance with customer and industry standards. The engineer will work closely with production, process, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality output. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure product quality in SMT and PCB assembly processes Conduct root cause analysis on defects using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer issues Review and analyze quality data (FPY, DPMO, yield trends) and implement improvements Perform process audits and ensure compliance with quality standards Support new product introduction (NPI) and validate quality requirements Handle customer complaints and coordinate responses with cross-functional teams Ensure proper implementation of inspection standards (AOI, SPI, ICT, Functional Testing) Develop and maintain quality documentation such as control plans, SOPs, and inspection criteria Provide training and guidance to operators and inspectors on quality standards Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent) At least 2–5 years of experience in PCB/SMT manufacturing or electronics industry Strong knowledge of SMT processes (Stencil Printing, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI) Experience in quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan Familiar with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001) Good analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge in ISO standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 is an advantage) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Work Location: In person
