JOB DESCRIPTION: A: Purpose and Scope You will support the QHSE Manager in achieving exceptional QHSE performance and assist in maintaining the company’s registered Integrated Management System covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485 Standards. B: Responsibilities · QUALITY · Taking ownership of Incoming, Production and Finished Goods inspection · Working closely with QHSE Manager in investigating returns and troubleshooting product or production issues · Support, awareness and coaching on company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) policies and procedures · Maintain and assist with the completion of internal IMS auditing programme · Maintain and assist with the development of the company’s Integrated Management system ensuring compliance with current applicable legislation including, but not limited to, health & safety, environmental, product testing, compliance and other relevant requirements · Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and systems · Maintain accurate QHSE records · Assist with third party and customer audits on ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management, ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management (Medical) and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management C: Organisational Relationships Reports to the QHSE Manager Works closely with Head of Engineering and other company Managers JOB REQUIREMENTS: A: Education and Training · Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH) · Experience in a similar role, ideally within the electronics industry · Lead Auditor qualification preferred but not essential · Education in quality, industrial, electrical, or mechanical discipline is preferred. · 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role. · Ideal electronics experience and background / IPC knowledge · Working understanding of PFMEA & Quality plans. · Effective communication and people skills. · Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. · First Aid at work qualification preferred but not essential · An initiative-taking & independent approach. B: Technical Requirements · High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail · Excellent interpersonal / communication skills · Good organisational and time management skills · Must be able to work independently and be self motivated · Be flexible and have an enthusiastic approach to working in sometimes challenging conditions · Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages C: Experience Experience of effectively organising and prioritising workload to meet deadlines · Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining management systems HEALTH & SAFETY · Assist with the preparation of Risk Assessments and method Statements as required · Assist with the investigation of any accidents, incidents and near misses · Promote safe working practices, use of PPE and assist with continuous improvement to meet acceptable standards · Maintain H&S inspection records from monthly checks ENVIRONMENTAL - Assist with good environmental practice and reporting · Promote effective waste management and assist with legal obligations · Identify current applicable legislation in relation to our operations C: Skills & Experience · Experience of effectively organising and prioritising workload to meet deadlines · Experience in maintaining management systems · High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail · Excellent interpersonal / communication skills · Good organisational and time management skills · Must be able to work independently and be self motivated · Be flexible and have an enthusiastic approach to working in sometimes challenging conditions · Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages D: Organisational Relationships · Reporting Directly into QHSE Manager · Working closely with Engineering Manager and other Managers JOB REQUIREMENTS: · Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH) · Experience in a similar role, ideally within the electronics and manufacturing sector. · Lead Auditor qualification preferred but not essential · Education in quality, industrial, electrical, or mechanical discipline is preferred. · 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role. · Ideal electronics experience and background / IPC knowledge · Working understanding of PFMEA & Quality plans. · Effective communication and people skills. · Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. · First Aid at work qualification preferred but not essential · Full Driving Licence Job Type: Full-time Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year Benefits: - Bereavement leave - Canteen - Company pension - Free parking - Life insurance - On-site parking Work Location: In person
