The role will ensure that project activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements throughout the construction process. Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor the project Quality Control Plan (QCP) and quality procedures. Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) , checklists, and inspection procedures. Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Foremen, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders regarding quality requirements. Inspect construction activities, materials, workmanship, and completed works. Review material submittals, delivery inspections, test results, and relevant quality documentation. Ensure required materials and works undergo appropriate inspection and testing. Identify defects, deviations, and non-conforming works and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor their proper closure. Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely rectification of quality issues. Monitor concrete works, rebar, formworks, masonry, architectural finishes, and other construction activities as applicable to the project. Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and project documentation. Review and verify as-built documentation and quality-related close-out requirements. Participate in quality meetings, site inspections, audits, and coordination meetings. Monitor compliance with applicable construction standards, specifications, and project requirements. Prepare periodic quality reports and provide updates to the Project Manager or QA/QC Manager. Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality. Perform other quality-related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field. Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred. At least 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance , preferably in the construction industry. Experience in Building, Infrastructure, Heavy Civil, or Light Civil projects is an advantage. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, inspection procedures, and quality standards. Experience in preparing ITPs, inspection checklists, NCRs, and quality reports . Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Knowledge of construction testing and inspection requirements. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Willing to be assigned to project sites and work in different locations.
