The QC Engineer is responsible for full-site construction quality control, inspection, testing verification, non-conformity rectification and quality document management covering structural retrofitting, building renovation and all MEPFS installation works. This role ensures all construction works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality plans and Philippine building standards. Job Responsibilities Prepare, update and implement site Quality Control Plan, Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and quality checklists for building retrofitting and MEPFS works. Conduct daily site patrol and regular quality inspection for structural retrofitting, concrete repair, steel strengthening, masonry, finishing and all MEP installations. Verify construction materials, equipment and accessories on-site; check material certificates, test reports and compliance with approved submittals. Witness on-site construction testing, including concrete test, pressure test, electrical continuity test, plumbing leakage test and other required inspections. Identify construction defects, poor workmanship and quality non-conformities; issue QC notification, track rectification progress and verify re-inspection acceptance. Monitor construction workmanship compliance with approved drawings, project specifications and local building codes. Maintain complete QC records, daily quality reports, inspection logs, test records and rectification documents. Assist in consultant/client inspection, prepare quality documents for inspection submission and acceptance. Coordinate with site engineers and foremen to standardize construction methods and improve site quality performance. Support project final inspection, handover and as-built quality documentation sorting. Perform other QC-related tasks assigned by the Project Manager and EIC. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering field. Minimum 2 years site QC experience in building construction, retrofitting, renovation or infrastructure projects. Familiar with construction quality control procedures, ITP, inspection & acceptance workflow. Basic knowledge of Philippine National Building Code, construction workmanship standards and MEP installation quality requirements. Able to read construction drawings, check workmanship and identify site quality defects accurately. Proficient in MS Office for QC report writing and data sorting. Good English communication skills for client/consultant inspection coordination. Strict, careful, responsible, able to work independently and follow up rectification works timely.
