QC Electrical Engineer Vacancies: 2 | 400kV GIS / Electrical QA/QC Key Responsibilities · Responsible for quality control and inspection activities for 400 kV GIS, HV/MV Transformer, 33 kV MV switchgear, control and protection panels, and associated electrical systems in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, OEM requirements, and applicable IEC standards. · Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Inspection Checklists for electrical installation and testing activities. · Perform and coordinate inspection of 400 kV GIS installation, including GIS bay assembly, busbar connections, circuit breaker, disconnector, earthing switch, CT/VT, cable connections, control cabinets, interlocking mechanisms, and associated accessories in accordance with OEM installation requirements. · Monitor installation quality of 33 kV MV switchgear/GIS panels, including panel alignment, mechanical assembly, busbar connections, cable termination, earthing, control wiring, interlocks, and associated accessories. · Inspect control and protection panels and verify installation/workmanship against approved IFC drawings, SLDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and OEM manuals. · Coordinate with the T&C team for inspection and quality verification of electrical testing activities, including insulation resistance, contact resistance, continuity, functional checks, interlock verification, and protection/control circuit testing. · Raise and manage RFIs/WIRs, MIRs, inspection requests, punch lists, NCRs, corrective action reports, and NCR closeout documentation. · Conduct material receiving inspections and verify proper earthing/bonding arrangements for GIS, MV switchgear, control/protection panels, cable trays, equipment structures, and associated equipment. · Inspect MV/HV cable installation and termination works and monitor torque tightening activities using calibrated tools in accordance with OEM/project requirements. · Coordinate with construction, engineering, T&C, OEM representatives, and client inspectors; participate in joint/pre-commissioning/final inspections and punch-list clearance. · Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, logs, RFI status, NCR registers, punch lists, and handover/final QA/QC dossier documentation. Job Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. · At least 8–10 years of experience in primary and secondary electrical power systems from 0.4 kV up to 400 kV. · Experience developing Method Statements and ITPs as per project requirements. · Experience preparing/submitting NCR closeout reports. · Good English communication skills (speaking and writing), with the ability to explain and mediate technical issues with OE and EPC; Chinese is a plus. · Knowledge of IEC and IEEE standards.
