# QAQC Manager **RITS** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Description: QA/QC Manager – Oil & Gas Location: Qatar Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC Experience: Typically 15+ years Education: B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Metallurgical Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and manage the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control function for Oil & Gas / EPC projects. The successful candidate will ensure effective implementation of the Project Quality Plan, quality management systems, inspection procedures, and quality control activities in compliance with QatarEnergy requirements, applicable Shell Design and Engineering Practices (DEPs), international codes, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the project QA/QC team and oversee quality activities across all relevant disciplines. - Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Quality Management System (QMS). - Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy standards, applicable Shell DEPs, international codes, and contractual quality requirements. - Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection procedures, method statements, and quality documentation. - Oversee material inspection, receiving inspection, traceability, storage, preservation, and quality control. - Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), root cause analysis, and preventive actions. - Coordinate quality inspections, audits, surveillance activities, and third-party inspections. - Lead and supervise contractor and subcontractor quality teams to ensure compliance with approved project requirements. - Monitor quality performance, identify recurring issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and project management teams on quality-related matters. - Prepare and review quality reports, audit findings, inspection records, and quality performance indicators. - Ensure proper documentation, turnover dossiers, and quality records are completed for project handover. - Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to QA/QC personnel throughout project execution. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Metallurgical. - Typically 15+ years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas / EPC industry. - Significant experience in a senior QA/QC management or leadership position. - Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 requirements. - Experience with QatarEnergy standards and applicable Shell DEPs. - Good understanding of international codes, project specifications, inspection procedures, and quality documentation. - Proven experience managing QA/QC teams, contractor quality functions, audits, NCRs, and corrective actions. - ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred. - Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
