Fuel the Future With Us The QA Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the completeness and timeliness of quality assurance activities in the most cost-effective manner. The role oversees incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection; rejects, returns, and reworks; customer complaint resolution; compliance with ISO, GMP, GWP, GTP, HSSE, 5S, government and other legal requirements; and continuous process improvement. How You'll Drive Success Incoming and In-Process Quality Assurance Manage incoming inspection of packaging materials to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining manpower cost efficiency and effectiveness. Review and sign return orders for rejected packaging material deliveries. Manage in-process quality assurance activities in the VAO Filling and Blending Section to help achieve zero defects to customers Implement statistical process control and prepare hourly/daily in-process QA score reports for each filling and blending line. Monitor quality trends and promptly escalate deviations, non-conformities, and recurring quality issues. Supplier Quality Management Coordinate with suppliers regarding packaging material quality issues and corrective actions. Conduct supplier audits and evaluations in accordance with applicable quality standards and Company requirements. Prepare weekly, monthly, and YTD rejection score reports by supplier and use results to identify improvement opportunities. Work with relevant stakeholders and suppliers to reduce packaging material rejects, returns, and rework. Rejects, Returns, Reworks and Customer Complaints Monitor rejects, returns, and rework activities and ensure timely investigation and disposition. Coordinate with relevant departments on root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues. Support timely resolution of customer complaints and monitor closure against agreed timelines. Analyze recurring defects and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence. Quality Compliance and Audit Manage implementation and compliance with GMP, GWP, GTP, and ISO requirements across the VAO Blending Plant. Ensure adherence to applicable HSSE, 5S, government, regulatory, and other legal requirements related to quality operations. Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings and corrective actions. Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation required for operational and regulatory compliance. Process Improvement and Reporting Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and process controls. Establish and monitor QA performance indicators, ensuring targets for inspection, audits, rejects, and complaint resolution are tracked. Provide regular QA performance reports and recommendations to the Plant Manager and relevant stakeholders. Perform other assignments and tasks as assigned by Management. Team Leadership Lead and supervise the QA team, ensuring adequate manpower coverage and effective execution of quality activities. Coach and develop team members on QA procedures, GMP, GWP, GTP, ISO requirements, and applicable work standards. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance within the plant. The Expertise You BringEducation Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Experience Hands-on experience in incoming and in-process inspection, supplier quality, audits, rejects/returns/rework, and quality reporting. Experience in manufacturing quality systems and plant-based QA operations is preferred. Skills & Competencies Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of SAP is preferred. Strong communication and coordination skills, particularly in dealing with suppliers and cross-functional teams. High attention to detail and commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
