# QA/QC Mechanical Engineer (3–5 Years GCC Experience) **NUCLEUS TRADING AND CONTRACTING** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Key Responsibilities - Quality Plan Implementation: Maintain and execute the project-specific Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for all MEP and mechanical systems. - Site Inspections & RFI Management: Conduct daily site quality inspections for HVAC, piping, drainage, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Generate and manage Requests for Inspection (RFI) . - Material Compliance: Review, verify, and cross-reference mechanical material submittals against project data sheets, design specs, and approved vendor lists. Conduct Material Inspection Reports (MIR) on arriving site equipment. - Testing & Commissioning: Witness and document hydrotesting, line flushing, air duct leakage testing, and system commissioning alongside client representatives. - Non-Conformance Management: Identify site quality defects, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) , and track the timely resolution and closeout of corrective actions. - Documentation & Audit Support: Ensure all QA/QC files, drawings, certificates, and quality records are organized per ISO 9001 standards to support client or internal audits. Required Qualifications & Experience - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. - Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of verified experience as a QA/QC Engineer specialized in mechanical/MEP construction projects. - Regional Experience: Mandatory 3+ years of experience within Qatar or the GCC region . A solid understanding of Gulf standard engineering specifications (such as QCS - Qatar Construction Specifications ) is required. - Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in reading blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&IDs. - Immediate Joiners are preferred. - Must have a valid QID. Skills & Competencies - Strong communication and technical report writing skills. - Ability to interface confidently with project managers, consultants, and clients. - Analytical mindset with a rigorous eye for construction detailing and compliance. Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
