# QA/QC Manager **SME ELECTROMECHANICAL LLC** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role ● Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures specific to solar PV installation works (modules, mounting structures/trackers, inverters, transformers, MV/LV cabling, SCADA and grid interconnection). ● Ensure all QA/QC activities comply with IEC 62446, IEC 61215/61730, project technical specifications, client/consultant requirements, and applicable UAE regulatory and grid-code standards. ● Lead and supervise the QA/QC team (engineers, inspectors, and technicians) across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines on the solar farm/site. ● Plan and conduct inspections at all stages: incoming material inspection (modules, cables, structures), installation (piling/pile-driving, module mounting, DC/AC cabling), and pre-commissioning/commissioning (string testing, IV curve testing, insulation resistance, earthing, thermographic scanning). ● Review and approve method statements, ITPs, and quality documentation submitted by subcontractors prior to work execution. ● Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for major equipment (inverters, transformers, switchgear) with vendors and client representatives. ● Raise, track, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective/Preventive Action Requests (CAR/PAR); drive root-cause analysis with the project team. ● Maintain full QA/QC documentation and records (ITP checklists, test reports, inspection requests, NCRs, punch lists) in an organized, audit-ready system. ● Liaise directly with client, consultant, and third-party inspection/certification bodies during inspections, witness tests, and audits; attend and lead QA/QC coordination meetings. ● Support pre-commissioning and commissioning teams, ensuring performance testing (e.g. PR/performance ratio verification) and punch-list closeout are completed to the client's and manufacturer's requirements prior to handover. ● Ensure calibration and proper use of all testing/measuring equipment (megger, IV curve tracers, thermal cameras, torque wrenches, etc.). ● Provide QA/QC input for warranty, defect liability period (DLP) support, and final project handover/as-built documentation. ● Conduct internal quality audits and toolbox talks; drive a quality-first culture on site among subcontractors and the workforce. Report QA/QC KPIs, inspection status, and non-conformance trends to the Project Director/senior management on a regular basis.
