# QA/QC Engineer – Vehicles **NAFFCO Fire Fighting Equipment Safety Systems** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 9 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Career Opportunity – QA/QC Engineer – Vehicles Location: NAFFCO Qatar The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that vehicles, vehicle components, repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities comply with approved specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, defect identification, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of vehicle quality and reliability. Vehicle Inspection & Quality Control - Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of vehicles. - Inspect vehicle body, chassis, engine, transmission, electrical systems, suspension, braking systems, tires, and other components. - Verify vehicle condition against approved specifications, inspection checklists, and manufacturer requirements. - Identify defects, damages, workmanship issues, and non-conformities. - Ensure completed repairs and corrective work meet required quality standards. - Perform road tests and functional checks where applicable. - Verify vehicle modifications, installations, and accessories for compliance with approved requirements. QA/QC Documentation - Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). - Maintain vehicle inspection and defect-tracking records. - Review repair and maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports. - Maintain records of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automobile Engineering , or a related engineering discipline. - Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering may be considered with substantial relevant experience. - Additional qualifications in QA/QC, Quality Management, or Automotive Inspection are preferred. - Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, vehicle inspection, automotive maintenance, fleet management, or workshop operations. - Experience with light vehicles, heavy vehicles, buses, trucks, or specialized vehicles is preferred.
