QA/QC Engineer-FINISHING

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Verification:
• Process and review Requests for Inspection (RFI / WIR) for finishing works.
• Conduct stage-wise inspections (before, during, and after execution) for trades like painting, tiling, gypsum/false ceilings, joinery, and cladding.
• Verify line, level, plumb, dimensions, and surface finishes against latest approved drawing revisions.
• Material & Mock-up Control:
• Inspect incoming architectural and high-end materials (e.g., book-matched marble, bespoke joinery, architectural glass) upon arrival at site.
• Verify materials and bulk deliveries against approved submittals, samples, and test certificates.
• Monitor and sign off on reference mock-ups.
• Defect & Non-Conformance Management:
• Identify and log work that fails to meet standards by issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) .
• Lead snagging and de-snagging processes with subcontractors, tracking corrective actions to fast closure.
• Analyze recurring defects and coordinate root-cause fixes with site execution teams.
• Documentation & Handover:
• Maintain quality records, inspection checklists, and material approval registers.
• Compile quality control documentation required for as-built and final client/consultant handovers.
• Coordinate site audits and walk-throughs with the main contractor, consultant, or client representatives.

Pay: AED3,300.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
