# QA/QC Engineer (Civil) **Modular General Contracting** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing and monitoring the project Quality Management System to ensure all construction activities, materials, and completed works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, authority requirements, and applicable international standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan, inspection procedures, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Review project specifications, IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents. Conduct inspections of civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works. Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, laboratories, and site teams. Prepare and submit Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and Requests for Inspection (RFIs). Monitor incoming materials and ensure they comply with approved samples and submittals. Identify non-conforming work, issue NCRs, perform root-cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, test results, calibration certificates, and quality registers. Conduct internal quality audits and monitor subcontractor compliance. Review laboratory and field test results, including concrete, soil, waterproofing, and other required tests. Attend quality and progress meetings and prepare periodic quality reports. Support testing, commissioning, snagging, de-snagging, and project handover activities. Compile project closeout documents, warranties, as-built records, and O&M manuals. Provide technical guidance and quality training to engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, local authority regulations, and company procedures. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in building or infrastructure construction. UAE/GCC construction experience is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, international construction standards, and local authority requirements. Proficient in reviewing drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and material submittals. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is an advantage. Strong reporting, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant document-control or project-management systems. Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
