# QA/QC Engineer **Hashim Contracting & Gen Maintenance** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Key Responsibilities - Implement and maintain the project's Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures . - Review project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and other technical documents. - Inspect civil and building construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. - Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders regarding quality-related matters. - Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (WIR/IR) for completed works and coordinate inspections with consultants. - Review and verify Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and ensure materials comply with approved specifications and submittals. - Monitor concrete, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, waterproofing, plastering, tiling, flooring, painting, and other civil/architectural works. - Ensure that construction materials are properly inspected, stored, and used as per approved requirements. - Monitor site activities and identify quality issues, non-conformities, and defective works. - Prepare and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. - Review and monitor Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality procedures . - Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing and ensure that required test reports are available and properly maintained. - Monitor concrete works, including sampling, cube testing, slump testing, pouring inspections, and related documentation. - Ensure that testing and inspection activities are carried out at the required stages of construction. - Maintain accurate QA/QC records, inspection reports, test reports, material approvals, NCRs, and other quality documentation. - Conduct regular site quality inspections and prepare quality observation reports where required. - Ensure all corrective actions identified during inspections are properly closed out. - Participate in consultant/client inspections and assist in resolving quality-related comments. - Review as-built drawings and quality documentation prior to project handover. - Assist in preparing project QA/QC dossiers and handover documentation . - Ensure compliance with applicable UAE construction standards, project specifications, authority requirements, and company procedures. - Promote a strong quality culture among site teams, subcontractors, and workers. - Report major quality issues and risks to the Project Manager / QA/QC Manager. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil Technology or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in UAE construction projects . - Experience in building construction is preferred. - Candidates with experience in residential, commercial, villa, school, hotel, or high-rise building projects will be preferred. - Strong knowledge of civil construction activities and quality control procedures. - Good knowledge of ITP, MIR, WIR/IR, NCR, Method Statements, checklists, and test reports . - Knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, waterproofing, finishing and other civil works. - Familiarity with relevant UAE construction standards and project specifications. - Strong communication and coordination skills. - Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD . - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
