# QA/QC Engineer **Emperos DMCC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Civil QA/QC Engineer to join our project team for a high-rise residential tower project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control procedures across civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works, ensuring that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, ITPs, and applicable standards. Key Responsibilities - Implement and maintain the project QA/QC procedures and Quality Management Plan . - Monitor civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. - Conduct inspections for reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, screeding, waterproofing, tiling, painting, and other finishing works . - Prepare and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, Inspection Requests (IRs), and quality records . - Review approved shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and specifications before commencement of works. - Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, site engineers, and project management regarding inspections and quality requirements. - Inspect incoming construction materials and verify compliance with approved material submittals and project specifications. - Monitor concrete-related activities, including reinforcement inspection, formwork inspection, concrete pouring, cube testing, curing, and associated records . - Ensure proper implementation of testing procedures and review laboratory/test reports. - Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and initiate NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive measures . - Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on outstanding quality observations. - Ensure that corrective actions are implemented and closed within the required timeframe. - Maintain complete and accurate QA/QC documentation and inspection records. - Assist in internal and external quality audits and consultant inspections. - Prepare quality reports and provide regular updates to the QA/QC Manager and Project Manager. - Ensure all works are completed in accordance with applicable international standards, UAE regulations, project specifications, and approved procedures . - Coordinate with the construction team to ensure quality requirements are understood and maintained throughout the project. - Assist with preparation of snagging, de-snagging, testing and commissioning, and project handover documentation . Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in construction, with strong experience in high-rise residential or building projects . - Proven experience in QA/QC inspection of structural, civil, architectural, and finishing works . - Strong knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, waterproofing, plastering, tiling, painting, and other building works. - Good knowledge of ITPs, method statements, inspection requests, NCRs, material inspections, and quality documentation . - Familiarity with relevant ASTM, BS, EN, ISO 9001 , and project-specific quality standards. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and shop drawings . - Strong knowledge of testing and inspection procedures for construction materials and works. - Excellent coordination and communication skills with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams. - Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation systems. - UAE/GCC high-rise building experience required. - Candidates available to join immediately in the UAE will be preferred.
