# QA/QC Engineer **BSL** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 11 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Key Responsibilities · Incoming Inspection - Verify raw materials, MTCs/Lab TC, dimensions, and traceability. · In Process Inspection - Monitor fabrication, fit up, welding parameters, and WPS compliance. · Final Inspection - Validate dimensions, weld quality, coating/HDG, marking, and packing. · Drawing Interpretation - Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and weld symbols. · Welding Quality Control - Review WPS, WPQR, welder qualifications; ensure welders work within qualified ranges. · NDT Coordination - Witness/review VT, PT, MT activities and ensure compliance with ISO 9712. · Documentation & Records - Maintain inspection reports, NCRs, CAPA, calibration logs, and master data. · Calibration Verification - Check calibration status of instruments, welding machines, ovens, gauges. · Supplier Quality - Support supplier inspections, audits, and corrective actions. · Material Traceability - Ensure traceability from raw material to finished product. · Safety Compliance - Promote safe working practices during inspection and welding activities. · Master Data Management - Maintain WPS, PQR, welder master list, NCR, CAPA master files. Qualifications · Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. · ISO 9712 Level II certification in VT, PT, MT (preferred). · 3–5 years of experience in fabrication/welding quality inspection. · Strong knowledge of welding processes, defects, WPS/WPQR/WPQ. · Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, weld symbols. · Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection tools. · Proficiency in MS Office and preparation of quality reports. · Good communication skills in English (written and spoken). · Basic knowledge of material traceability and calibration systems. · Experience in scaffolding, steel planks, tube mill, or structural steel fabrication. · Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 3834, EN 1090 implementation.
