# QA/QC Engineer **BH.NS Engineering Consultants** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 13 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Consultant Site QA/QC Engineer Job Description Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Reports To: Resident Engineer Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Job Summary The Site QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, codes, and quality standards on behalf of the client/consultant. The role involves inspection, documentation, and coordination with the contractor's QA/QC team to maintain quality throughout all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities - Review and monitor contractor's QA/QC plans, method statements, and inspection & test plans (ITPs) for compliance with project specifications - Conduct site inspections at each stage of work (pre-pour, in-progress, and final) and issue inspection requests (IRs) or notices of non-compliance (NCRs) as needed - Witness material testing (concrete, steel, soil compaction, welding, etc.) and verify test results against approved standards - Review and approve/reject contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications for quality compliance - Maintain quality documentation: inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, punch lists, and as-built quality records - Coordinate with contractor's QA/QC engineers, site engineers, and third-party testing labs - Monitor closeout of non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented - Attend site quality meetings and report quality status to the QA/QC Manager and client - Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO, QCS – U.A.E Construction Specifications, or local equivalents) - Support handover documentation, including quality dossiers and as-built records Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field - 5+ years of experience in QA/QC roles on construction projects (building, infrastructure, or industrial) - Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and applicable codes/standards - Certification in quality management (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) preferred - Familiarity with ITP development, NCR management, and inspection documentation Skills & Competencies - Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret drawings/specifications - Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams - Proficiency in MS Office, quality management software, and site documentation systems - Ability to work independently on-site with minimal supervision - Sound understanding of construction sequencing and risk areas for quality failures Work Conditions - Full-time, on-site position - Based at project construction site with regular inspection rounds - May require site visits during early morning or evening pours / critical activities Salary : AED 8,000.00 to AED 12,000.00 Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
