# QA/QC Electrical Engineer **Gemworth** · Quezon City · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role The Engineering Department Head – Electrical is responsible for overseeing the planning, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of the company’s electrical systems, facilities, and equipment. The position ensures that all electrical works are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable Philippine electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the Engineering/Electrical Department and its technical personnel. Oversee the installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and facilities. Conduct electrical inspections and ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), applicable government regulations, and safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide appropriate technical solutions to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruption. Review electrical plans, designs, specifications, quotations, and technical proposals for projects and facility improvements. Coordinate with Operations, Construction, Facilities, Maintenance, Procurement, and other departments regarding engineering requirements. Prepare and manage the Engineering Department’s budget, maintenance costs, materials, and equipment requirements. Evaluate contractors, suppliers, and service providers based on technical capability, quality, cost, and compliance. Perform other engineering and management duties as may be assigned by Management. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field. Preferably with a valid Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) license or equivalent senior-level experience. Preferably with 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience leading an engineering or maintenance team. Strong knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), electrical safety standards, and applicable government regulations. Knowledgeable in electrical distribution systems, generators, transformers, motors, lighting systems, circuit protection, and other electrical equipment. Proficient in preparing technical reports, maintenance schedules, project documentation, and cost estimates. Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Able to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of other engineering software is an advantage. Willing to conduct site inspections and travel to company branches or project locations when required. Willing to work in Quezon City Experience in retail, commercial buildings, warehouses, manufacturing, or facilities management. Knowledge of energy management and electrical efficiency programs. Experience managing electrical contractors and construction/fit-out projects.
