QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our software development team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and functionality of our web applications, APIs, and enterprise software solutions.

Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
• Validate backend data and perform database testing using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Identify, document, track, and retest software defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure software quality.
• Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and sprint testing activities.
• Perform cross-browser, responsive, and mobile compatibility testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare QA reports, testing progress updates, and defect summaries.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production release validation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress .
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL queries and database validation, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience testing modern web applications, preferably Angular and .NET-based applications.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to create clear test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English is mandatory, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently communicate defects, explain technical issues, and coordinate with developers and stakeholders in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing enterprise applications, microservices, and role-based access control (RBAC).

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
