Interview Process: Internal Round + Client Round 1 (Virtual) + Client Round 2 (Face-to-Face) Role Overview We are looking for an Automation Tester / QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, shell scripting, BDD, AWS services, and end-to-end workflow automation. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Java or Python, experience in UI and backend/API testing, and exposure to AI tools and LLMs. This role is specifically for Automation Testing professionals. Mandatory Skills Playwright automation Shell scripting BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) AWS services UI and backend/API testing End-to-end workflow automation Java or Python programming JavaScript/TypeScript Database queries Linux environment Document preparation and maintenance LLM and AI tool exposure Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using Playwright and shell scripting. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across UI, databases, batch jobs, and AWS resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. Automate complex end-to-end workflows and continuously improve test coverage. Coordinate end-to-end testing across different product and domain teams. Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle. Contribute to and maintain testing documentation, standards, and best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability. Propose innovative approaches to improve automation efficiency and effectiveness. Document automation workflow designs, execution steps, and usage instructions. Prepare user guides and runbooks to support maintainability and knowledge sharing. Document and track test artifacts in appropriate tools, including Jira and source-code repositories. Maintain tools used for test development, including source control, test management, and release systems. Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices. Communicate blockers and risks proactively to minimize project delays. Perform manual testing when required. Required Qualifications 4+ years of QA automation experience, with a strong focus on modern automation frameworks. Strong programming skills in Java or Python . Strong shell scripting skills. Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience writing and executing database queries. Experience working in a Linux environment. Experience testing backend services, APIs, and web-based UI applications. Solid understanding of AWS services. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail. Understanding of Agile methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience with JMeter or other performance testing tools. Preferred Qualifications AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Exposure to performance testing using tools such as JMeter. Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker. Exposure to security and accessibility testing practices. Exposure to any ETL tool. Knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs. Hands-on experience using the OpenAI API or similar AI/ML APIs to build applications or prototypes. Pay: From ₹1,200,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
