Role: Contract or W2 / Hybrid Location: NYC Duration:1+ year Exp: 7+ yrs Prefer OPT /GC/USC candidates MOI : Webex and in-person · Seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript and Cypress to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks. · Need strong programming knowledge in JavaScript, Core Java and Array-based coding. · Need in-depth knowledge of automation tool Cypress and Playwright · Strong automation frameworks experience in WebDriver IO, Gherkins-Cucumber (BDD), Jenkins, Junit/TestNG, Docker and Python. · Develop comprehensive UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated test suites, ensuring high-quality releases across web applications. · Integrate Cypress automation into CI/CD pipelines, analyze test failures, troubleshoot defects, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams throughout the SDLC. · Experience testing ML/AI-enabled applications is preferred, including validating AI-generated outputs, model integrations, APIs, data quality. · Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, Git, Agile/Scrum, test strategy, defect management, and automation best practices is required. · Writing automation code. · Demonstrating ownership of automation work they've built and maintained. · SQL/backend validation · Strong hands-on automation development Need candidates with strong hands-on automation experience, particularly those who have built or maintained frameworks, worked extensively with APIs, and can demonstrate deep technical troubleshooting skills. We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate deep technical execution and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates whose experience has been automation engineering with strong technical depth, rather than candidates whose automation experience has been a smaller part of a broader QA role.
