The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium , strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, and experience working within Agile development teams. Generic Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools. - Create and execute automated functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end tests . - Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. - Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure application quality. - Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable automation scripts following QA best practices. - Execute automated test suites and analyze test results, logs, and failures. - Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms . - Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) . - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar technologies. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. - Maintain test documentation, automation reports, test data, and defect records. - Investigate test failures and work with development teams to identify root causes. - Continuously improve test automation frameworks, coverage, execution time, and overall QA processes. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field . - 2 - 3 years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing . - Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: - - Playwright - - Cypress - - Selenium WebDriver - Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and QA methodologies . - Experience with programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C# . - Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing . - Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and software testing processes . - Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools . - Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab or other version-control systems. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
