Hybrid 3 x a week RTO. However, we might request for additional days when necessary. Qualifications: MID LEVEL · 3–5+ years of Python development experience · With banking or financial background · Strong experience with: FastAPI REST Framework · Hands-on experience with: Docker and Docker Compose (multi-container environments) · Experience in enterprise environments, including: AWS Coding standards CI/CD workflows (Code Pipeline, Code Deploy) · Code reviews and version control (Bitbcket) · Strong understanding of: RESTful API design principles API versioning and error handling · Proficiency in databases: PostgreSQL MongoDB Familiarity with API security: JWT / OAuth2 Secure coding practices Generic Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, REST API development, Docker, AWS, and database technologies , along with experience working in banking or financial services environments. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable backend applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions following industry best practices. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI. · Build and enhance RESTful APIs following industry standards and best practices. · Design API versioning, authentication, authorization, and error-handling mechanisms. · Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems. · Create and optimize database queries and data models using PostgreSQL and MongoDB. · Containerize applications using Docker and Docker Compose. · Participate in system architecture discussions and solution design. · Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. · Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability. · Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment automation and CI/CD implementation. · Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects. · Follow coding standards, development guidelines, and secure coding practices. · Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
