We will provide training and this is the perfect opportunity for someone who is interested in going to law school or who is in law school to gain some practical experience. This is a long-term position with potential for growth. Job Duties (include but are not limited to): -drafting documents and Judicial Council forms -e-filing documents -heavy client interaction -intaking potential clients -maintaining calendar and scheduling meetings -organizing and indexing files and documents per firm’s policies -general office duties (answering phones, making copies, filing, managing mail, ordering supplies) -opening/closing files -preparing trial exhibit books Qualifications: It is expected that candidates will: -be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365 -have an interest in the legal field -be able to multi-task and reliably complete tasks in a timely manner -have a strong work ethic -be reliable and dependable -make sure the office runs smoothly and efficiently while the attorneys are out of the office -be flexible, enthusiastic, and have a good attitude -exhibit excellent writing skills -have a professional demeanor and be able to build a rapport with clients -be detailed-oriented and organized -be able to work independently and as part of a team -be able to work with minimal supervision Please provide resume and a cover letter re: why you want to work in a law firm.
