Projects Manager – Fit-Out & Electromechanical

Manage and deliver laboratory, fit-out, and electromechanical (MEP) projects from planning and design through execution, testing, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring compliance with project budget, schedule, technical specifications, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory, fit-out, and electromechanical projects from project initiation through final handover.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, progress, and milestones.
• Manage MEP works, including HVAC, ventilation, electrical, plumbing, drainage, laboratory gases, BMS, and control systems.
• Supervise laboratory fit-out works, including walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, finishes, and laboratory furniture.
• Coordinate architectural, mechanical, electrical, and laboratory systems to ensure proper integration and eliminate clashes.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, technical specifications, and project documents with consultants and clients.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities.
• Review quantities, payment applications, variation orders, and overall project costs.
• Prepare and manage Material Submittals, Method Statements, RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, and other project documentation.
• Manage Testing & Commissioning activities for HVAC, BMS, electrical systems, and laboratory systems.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory, cleanroom, and applicable technical requirements.
• Identify and manage technical, commercial, and project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct project meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams and prepare progress reports.
• Coordinate procurement and material deliveries in accordance with the project schedule.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, quality, and HSE teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage snagging and punch list activities and ensure timely closure of all outstanding items.
• Review and coordinate As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, Testing & Commissioning Reports, and final handover documents.
• Lead the project team, assign responsibilities, and monitor the performance of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering.
• 8–12 years of experience in project management and project execution.
• Proven experience in Laboratories, Healthcare, Cleanrooms, Fit-Out, and MEP projects.
• Proven experience managing projects from design through execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong experience in managing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
• Strong ability to read and review engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, BMS, Fire Fighting, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Experience with Cleanroom HVAC, Laboratory Exhaust Systems, and Pressure Control.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Revit/BIM.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid accreditation with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Ability to work on-site and manage multiple teams, activities, and priorities simultaneously.
• Proven experience in the Saudi market and laboratory projects.

Pay: ﷼8,000.00 - ﷼14,000.00 per month
