# Project QA/QC Manager-MEP **Venco Imtiaz Contracting Co** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary: Responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in compliance with contract specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards. The role ensures that all construction activities, materials, and workmanship conform to approved method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and applicable codes and local municipality requirements. The position interfaces closely with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to drive a proactive quality culture, minimize rework, and ensure successful project handover with full documentation compliance. Key Responsibilities: Ensure full implementation of Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with ISO 9001:2015 and project-specific requirements Develop, review, and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements (MS), and Quality Procedures for all trades including civil, architectural, and MEP works Establish and monitor Hold Points (HP), Witness Points (WP), and Surveillance Points in coordination with Consultant/Client representatives Conduct technical reviews of IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure compliance with specifications and contract requirements Manage material inspection processes including MIRs (Material Inspection Requests), ensuring traceability, certification, and compliance with approved submittals Lead site inspections for civil and architectural works including concrete works, rebar inspections, waterproofing systems, finishing works, and façade installations Ensure calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment (MTE) as per ISO standards Implement Non-Conformance Report (NCR) system, perform root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Monitor concrete production, placement, curing, and testing (slump, cube tests) in accordance with ASTM/BS standards Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories for soil, concrete, steel, and material testing, ensuring timely reporting and compliance Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits by consultants, clients, and certification bodies Maintain and control all QA/QC documentation including inspection records, test reports, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, or relevant authority regulations and project-specific approval requirements Provide technical guidance and training to site engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors on quality standards and best practices Track quality KPIs, analyze trends, and implement improvement measures to reduce defects and rework Participate in project progress meetings and report on quality performance, risks, and mitigation strategies Ensure proper handover documentation including snagging, de-snagging, and final acceptance processes Interface with procurement to ensure vendor quality compliance and prequalification assessments Oversee finishing works quality including tiling, painting, gypsum, joinery, façade, and waterproofing systems with strict adherence to approved samples and mock-ups Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline. 15 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the construction industry, including at least 3 years as a QA/QC Manager role on reputed developer’s projects in UAE.
