We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager / Product Manager to lead and drive strategic technology initiatives supporting our Compliance organization. This individual will partner closely with Compliance, Technology, Operations, and other key stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into effective technology solutions and ensure initiatives are delivered successfully from concept through implementation. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced, hands-on professional who can operate independently, navigate a complex financial-services environment, and effectively engage with senior stakeholders. This role requires a combination of strong project execution, product management, business analysis, and stakeholder management capabilities. The role will support technology initiatives across several core Compliance domains, including: KYC / AML – Know Your Customer, Anti-Money Laundering, client due diligence, onboarding, monitoring, and related compliance processes and technology. Surveillance – Technology supporting regulatory and compliance surveillance, monitoring, alerting, investigations, and associated workflows. Electronic Communications & Archiving – Solutions supporting communications capture, retention, archiving, supervision, search, and regulatory requirements. FINRA Registration & Licensing – Technology and processes supporting employee registration, licensing, regulatory filings, and related FINRA requirements. Primary Responsibilities Own product vision, roadmap, backlog, and priorities for assigned Compliance technology solutions. Partner with Compliance stakeholders to define business needs, requirements, product capabilities, and success measures. Translate requirements into BRDs/FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional/technical specifications, ensuring traceability. Lead product discovery and solution assessment, including build-vs.-buy analysis and MVP definition. Develop and maintain integrated project plans, coordinating activities, milestones, dependencies, and delivery readiness. Manage product and project priorities across business, architecture, governance, engineering, and other technology teams. Maintain RAID logs, proactively identifying and escalating risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies. Lead project and working sessions, ensuring decisions, actions, and follow-ups are clearly documented and executed. Provide concise status reporting and executive communications to senior business and technology stakeholders. Drive UAT, release readiness, adoption, and continuous improvement based on stakeholder feedback and product performance. Track KPIs, adoption, and business outcomes to measure product effectiveness and inform future enhancements. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager / Product Manager on complex, cross-functional initiatives Experience managing complex Compliance products and Tech projects Demonstrated hands-on ownership of standard project management artifacts and cadence Experience stepping into in-flight or partially formed initiatives and stabilizing execution Experience working alongside engineering teams in a non-design capacity Experience in financial services Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent efforts Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable facing off with senior stakeholders Ability to operate independently with minimal day-to-day direction Pay: $90.00 - $95.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10055
