The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of direct experience managing NYCSCA projects and be familiar with SCA procedures, documentation, project meetings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, billing, inspections, scheduling, and project closeout. This is a hands-on Project Manager position requiring regular coordination with NYCSCA Project Officers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field supervisors, and our internal management team. The position is based at our Woodbridge, New Jersey office and requires frequent travel to project sites throughout New York City. Responsibilities Manage NYCSCA construction projects from startup through completion and closeout Attend bi-weekly progress meetings and other required project/job meetings Communicate and coordinate with NYCSCA Project Officers, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors Prepare, submit, track, and follow up on RFIs Manage submittals and shop drawings and follow up to obtain timely approvals Prepare, price, submit, and track change orders Identify potential change-order work and ensure change orders are submitted promptly Coordinate subcontractors and monitor their work, schedule, manpower, and contractual responsibilities Review and approve subcontractor invoices Coordinate and order materials required for the project Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, purchasing, deliveries, and material requirements Review daily reports and monitor field progress Perform regular project site visits Develop and maintain project schedules Perform short-term and long-term project planning Monitor project milestones and identify potential schedule delays Coordinate required project inspections Prepare and process monthly project billing Monitor project costs, purchase orders, subcontractor commitments, invoices, and change orders Coordinate with field supervisors to address project requirements and resolve field issues Review construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and other project documents Maintain complete and organized project documentation Coordinate punch lists, final inspections, documentation, and project closeout Qualifications Required: Minimum 3 years of experience managing NYCSCA construction projects Working knowledge of NYCSCA procedures and project requirements Experience with RFIs, change orders, submittals, shop drawings, project schedules, inspections, monthly billing, and project closeout Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Experience coordinating subcontractors and vendors Strong organizational and project documentation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to communicate professionally with Project Officers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard construction/project management software Valid driver's license Ability to travel frequently between our Woodbridge office and NYC project sites Compensation $75,000–$125,000 per year Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and level of direct NYCSCA project management experience. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of assigned projects, maintain strong communication with all project participants, and keep projects moving from award through successful completion and closeout.
