Job Overview: Boomtown Design is seeking an experienced project manager to lead the company’s commercial and residential projects. This role requires an exceptionally detail-oriented and strategic individual who is highly organized, flexible to change and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual is a strong leader and effective communicator who will work with the company’s internal departments to ensure all projects are executed effectively, accurately and on time while maintaining the highest level of customer service to its clients. Responsibilities and Duties: Serve as the company’s internal and external steward of the project workflow standards and contract terms while continuously striving to improve the process and experience for all parties Understand project requirements and details through interior design, architectural and structural plan sets / drawings, finish schedules, construction schedules, details, email communications and client meetings Work with the Division Leads and project team on all aspects of projects (including but not limited to project scheduling, means and methods, budget management, RFIs, finish samples, site visits, client coordination, etc.) Lead the all project-related meetings, meeting documents, file creation and management, tracking worksheet(s) and communication efforts via GoogleWorkspace Assist Division Leads with ensuring all project team members understand the project scope, design details, production and install needs for assigned projects Assist Drafters, Leads and / or Division Leads with determining field conditions and measurements Assist Division Leads with reviewing all shop drawings, production drawings and take off lists to ensure design intent, production and installation details are clear, concise, correct and in budget Assist Drafters, Leads and / or Division Leads with quality checking work-in-progress and completed work Assist Division Leads with monitoring project team daily updates to ensure projects stay on track and if issues arise assist in troubleshooting Provide Division Leads and project team members support as needed Other tasks may be assigned as needed Qualifications: 5+ years of experience managing or coordinating projects in a millworks or metal fabrication shop or in the engineering, product development or general construction industry Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors and team members Proficient with Google Workspace Ability to manage large volumes of information and prioritize tasks seamlessly with exceptional attention to detail Ability to achieve performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage deadlines and meet various competing demands while demonstrating the highest level of service and response Ability to receive orders from supervisor and execute them proficiently and professionally Punctual, reliable and presentable Strong self-motivation and collaboration skills Experience in or a strong desire to work in the construction industry Legally licensed and insured driver with a clean driving record Background check required Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
