The role will supervise the design team and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to technical and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the planning, design, and implementation of solar PV and renewable energy projects. - Supervise and manage the design and engineering team. - Develop and review solar PV system designs, layouts, and technical drawings. - Conduct site assessments and determine appropriate solar system requirements. - Review the sizing and selection of solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and other components. - Prepare and review technical proposals, BOQs, specifications, and project documents. - Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering, electrical, safety, and industry standards. - Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. - Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and installation concerns. - Monitor project schedule, budget, quality, and overall progress. - Review and approve design revisions and technical documents. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project and design teams. - Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to management. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, or a related field. - 3–5 years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, design, or renewable energy. - Strong knowledge of solar panels, solar PV systems, and renewable energy solutions. - Knowledge of solar system sizing, PV layouts, inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and electrical components. - Experience in solar project design and implementation is highly preferred. - Proficient in relevant design and engineering software. - Strong leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines. - Willing to conduct site visits and travel as required.
