Project Manager - Hardscape and Landscape
P&L Landscaping is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of landscape and hardscape projects from sales handoff through final completion. This is a customer-facing role for someone who can keep projects moving, communicate effectively with customers and crews, solve problems, and ensure every project is delivered professionally, efficiently, and to P&L's standards. What You'll Do Take full ownership of assigned projects from sales handoff through completion Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their project Review estimates, contracts, plans, specifications, and project scope before work begins Coordinate crews, schedules, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project logistics Conduct regular site visits and monitor project progress Keep projects on schedule and within established budgets Track labor, materials, project changes, and overall job performance Communicate expectations, priorities, and changes clearly with field crews and customers Identify potential problems early and take action to keep projects moving Manage customer questions and concerns professionally and proactively Coordinate and document change orders and scope changes Maintain accurate project notes, schedules, records, and documentation Work closely with Sales, Estimating, Operations, Accounting, and field leadership Ensure finished work meets company quality standards and customer expectations Manage project closeout and customer follow-up Successfully manage multiple active projects and competing priorities What We're Looking For 3–5 years of project management experience , preferably in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, site work, or a related field Proven experience working directly with customers Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to take ownership, make decisions, and follow projects through to completion Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt when project conditions change Ability to coordinate multiple projects, crews, customers, and deadlines Knowledge of landscape/hardscape construction processes, materials, and sequencing strongly preferred Comfortable working in both office and field environments Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project sites using a company-provided vehicle. Compensation $80,000–$115,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications. We're looking for someone who doesn't simply track projects—they own them . The right candidate will be accountable for keeping customers informed, crews coordinated, projects organized, and jobs moving successfully from start to finish.
