Project Manager & Executive Assistant – Bilingual Chinese/English (M/F)

The company

INOVSHOP Group has specialised in Retail for 41 years. The group designs, manufactures and installs in-store furniture, digital, experiential and security solutions for major international brands and retailers.

The role

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, within the international project team, you will become one of the group's Chinese-speaking points of contact.

You will manage a portfolio of Chinese clients, from the initial brief to the final in-store roll-out. You will be the day-to-day interface with their teams, in Chinese and English, both in France and at their headquarters in China. In parallel, you will support senior management on China and Asia matters.

Your responsibilitiesClient project management

• Prepare commercial proposals and pre-production files.
• Coordinate internal departments, from manufacturing to installation, and manage schedules.
• Monitor the budget, profitability and invoicing of your projects, and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Anticipate issues and raise the alert in case of schedule, budget or quality slippage.

Client interface and international coordination

• Act as the day-to-day interface with client teams, in Chinese and English, both in France and at their headquarters in China.
• Liaise between clients, internal teams, partners and suppliers.
• Centralise information and share it clearly and in a structured way between France and Asia.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project coordination.

Support to senior management – China and Asia

• Prepare and attend meetings with clients, partners and suppliers.
• Translate key communications and working documents, including contracts and specifications.
• Monitor Chinese brands entering the European market.
• Take part in the follow-up of our suppliers in Asia.

Your profileEducation and experience

• Higher education degree in project management, international trade, management or from a business school.
• At least 3 years' experience in project management, ideally in a retail agency, in trade marketing or at a brand.
• Experience in international project management or international trade is a real plus.

Languages

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese, native level or HSK 6: essential.
• Fluent English: essential.
• French: a plus.

• Strong project management skills: scheduling, budget, profitability and invoicing.
• Ability to run several projects at once and coordinate many stakeholders, including under pressure.
• Responsiveness and adaptability when priorities change.

• Attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Excellent written and oral communication in an international environment.

Terms and recruitment process

• Contract: permanent (CDI), executive status.
• Location: INOVSHOP Group headquarters, Paris 15th.
• Travel: occasional, in Europe and China.
• Salary: €36,000 to €40,000 gross per year.

The process includes an HR interview, an interview with senior management conducted partly in Chinese and English, and a short practical exercise.
