Project Manager EPC

Position: Project Manager – EPC (Oil & Gas) Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Industry: Oil & Gas – Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC)

Job Summary

Excel Astra Engineering & Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Oil & Gas EPC projects and relevant ADNOC approval. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end execution of major projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE requirements.

Experience in gas processing facilities, compression systems, and produced water treatment packages is particularly important.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle, from planning and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved scope, contractual requirements, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage EPC project activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Oversee projects involving gas processing facilities, compression systems, and produced water treatment packages.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, cost performance, resource allocation, risks, and contractual obligations.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive measures to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ADNOC requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
• Lead project meetings, review progress reports, resolve operational issues, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
• 20–25 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including substantial EPC project management experience.
• Relevant ADNOC approval is mandatory; candidates must be able to provide evidence of the approval and its applicable scope.
• Strong experience in gas processing facilities, gas compression systems, and/or produced water treatment packages.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, risk management, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project reporting.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
