Project Manager in Lisbon Office launch, renovation coordination, operational support About the role OfficeNear is a modern smart-office concept for small businesses, entrepreneurs and small teams. We are looking for a Project Manager to launch an office rental business in Lisbon and help bring a private home renovation to completion. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys organising work on site, communicating with contractors and clients, resolving day-to-day issues and delivering visible results. The role is approximately 80% project and operational work and 20% administrative support for the business owner. Construction experience is not required. Strong organisation, sound judgement, independence and a willingness to learn matter more than seniority. Key details Location Lisbon and surrounding areas Regular site visits and some remote work Employment Full time Hybrid schedule around contractors, meetings and clients Compensation €1,300–€2,000 net per month, depending on experience and independence Contract Project-based role with the potential to continue as the business scales Languages Working English and Portuguese Ukrainian or Russian is an advantage What you will doLaunch the office and attract clients · Complete the fit-out and launch of a small office rental business in Telheiras. · Create one clear launch plan and keep all remaining tasks, owners and deadlines under control. · Coordinate the resolution of all outstanding fit-out issues and inspect completed work on site. · Resolve administrative matters, including correspondence and the registered business address. · Equip the office with furniture, technology, stationery and everything clients need. · Engage a local lawyer and prepare a practical lease agreement based on the existing documents. · Research local demand and launch straightforward acquisition channels, including partnerships, flyers and online advertising. · Handle enquiries, arrange viewings and support clients through contracting and move-in. · Act as the business's primary point of contact, overseeing day-to-day operations while also promoting and selling the office offering. · Manage the client experience after move-in. · Hire and coordinate cleaning, technical and IT support, and manage consumable supplies. · Maintain the agreed office atmosphere and service standards. · Track costs, revenue and occupancy after launch. Coordinate completion of the home renovation · Act as the link between the owner, contractor, architect and suppliers. · Maintain a clear list of decisions, tasks, owners and deadlines. · Arrange meetings and site visits, document progress and follow up on outstanding issues. · Flag delays, cost changes and decisions requiring the owner's approval in advance. Provide additional support · Find suppliers and local specialists, compare options and prepare concise recommendations. · Coordinate documents, signatures, meetings and local logistics. · Handle occasional administrative and personal requests after the priority projects are covered. What we are looking for · You can turn an unstructured request into a clear action plan and follow it through. · You work without constant reminders, ask clarifying questions and raise issues early. · You communicate confidently with contractors, lawyers, suppliers and clients. · You pay close attention to deadlines, agreements, documents and costs. · You can travel regularly across Lisbon and the surrounding area and are comfortable working on site. · You are confident with spreadsheets, calendars, Microsoft 365 or similar tools. · You have working English and Portuguese. This role may suit someone early in their career or with initial experience in coordination, administration, service, sales or small projects. A construction background is not required. An advantage · Experience with contractors, procurement, customer service or real estate. · Basic knowledge of local marketing and service sales. · A category B driving licence and access to a car. · Ukrainian or Russian language skills. What success looks like · The office is fully operational, all outstanding issues are closed, and it reaches 100% occupancy within two months of launch. · Client acquisition channels are active, contracts are signed and move-ins run smoothly. · The status, costs, risks and next steps for each project are always clear. · The home renovation progresses to the agreed plan without lost commitments or unmanaged delays. How the work is organised You will receive the priorities, existing reports, contacts and expected outcomes at the start. You will then create the working plan, maintain a single task list and report regularly on progress, risks, costs and decisions needed. Within agreed authority, you will run day-to-day organisational matters independently. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From 1,300.00€ per month Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lisboa
