# Project Manager **Virtual Home Contracting LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and successful completion of construction projects in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, project schedules, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and approved budgets. The Project Manager will lead and coordinate project teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within the approved budget. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Management Manage the project from mobilization through completion and handover. Develop and monitor project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements. Establish project objectives, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor overall project progress and take corrective action where required. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contractual requirements. 2. Site & Construction Management Coordinate and supervise all construction activities through the project team. Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of works among different trades. Monitor site productivity, manpower, materials, equipment, and resources. Resolve technical and construction-related issues in coordination with consultants and relevant stakeholders. Ensure proper site organization and efficient utilization of resources. 3. Contract & Commercial Management Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and contractual obligations. Review and manage subcontractor and supplier performance. Identify potential commercial risks and coordinate with the commercial team to mitigate them. Review progress payment applications and support timely certification and collection. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and project requirements. 4. Coordination & Communication Act as the main point of contact for the client, consultant, authorities, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commercial, HSE, QA/QC, and planning teams. Prepare and review project reports, correspondence, and other required documentation. Maintain effective communication between the site and management teams. 5. Quality Management Ensure construction works comply with approved quality standards and project specifications. Coordinate with the QA/QC team regarding inspections, testing, NCRs, and corrective actions. Ensure all necessary approvals, inspections, and testing are completed before proceeding with subsequent works. Support the preparation and completion of project handover documentation. 6. Health, Safety & Environment Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and project-specific safety requirements. Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project. Ensure risk assessments, method statements, and permits are properly implemented. Take immediate action to address unsafe conditions or practices. Coordinate with the HSE team to monitor site safety performance. 7. Schedule & Progress Control Monitor the approved baseline programme and actual project progress. Identify delays, constraints, and critical activities. Develop and implement recovery plans where required. Coordinate with the planning team regarding schedule updates and progress reporting. Ensure project milestones are achieved within the agreed contractual dates. 8. Procurement & Materials Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. Review material requirements and procurement schedules. Monitor long-lead items and identify potential supply risks. Coordinate material approvals and delivery schedules with the project programme. 9. Project Handover & Close-Out Ensure completion of all outstanding works and snagging activities. Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and authority approvals. Ensure timely submission of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and other handover documents. Coordinate final project handover and close-out. Support final account and contractual close-out activities. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Project completion within approved schedule. Project completion within approved budget. Quality compliance and reduction of NCRs and rework. HSE performance and accident prevention. Client and consultant satisfaction. Effective management of subcontractors and suppliers. Timely approvals, inspections, and project documentation. Successful project handover and close-out. Effective management of variations, claims, and commercial risks. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline. Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, if applicable, are an advantage. UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred. Experience Minimum 8–12 years of relevant construction/project management experience, depending on project size and complexity. Proven experience managing projects from commencement through completion and handover. Experience in coordinating consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities. Strong knowledge of construction practices, project controls, contracts, quality, and HSE requirements. Work Location: In person
