The ideal candidate takes pride in their job and has experience with Building Automation / Networked Lighting Solutions or similar commercial electrical controls. The candidate must be organized, prompt, positive, and customer-focused. The candidate will provide project support services and report to SmartCon's Director of Operations. The candidate will be trained on all products and solutions. Position Functions - Asist with analyzing specification documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project - Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product - Review labor estimates for all projects - Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors - Assist is reviewing bids from vendors and contractors - Assist with managing change orders and coordinating updates to submittal packages - Perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, codes, and professional standards. Qualifications - Valid driver's license. - Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or a related field is a plus. - Experience with InnCom, Telkonet, Lutron MyRoom, Lutron HomeWorks, Control4, Crestron, and BACnet is a plus. - PMP cert preffered Benefits - Healthcare - 401k - Supplemental Life - Dental - Vision - PTO - Full Time, Min $75,000/yr BOE SmartCon specializes in designing, installing, and programming occupancy-based HVAC controls and lighting solutions to reduce energy costs in the hospitality, multi-family, military, and higher education markets.
