Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Civil Engineer with strong experience in managing civil construction projects in the UAE.

The candidate must have previous hands-on project management experience specifically in Dubai and the Northern Emirates and should have a strong understanding of local construction practices, authorities, consultants, contractors, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise civil construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower, materials, and resources.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Manage project budgets, variations, costs, and payment certifications.
• Identify and resolve technical and project-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, HSE requirements, and applicable authority standards.
• Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Lead and manage project teams effectively.
• Attend client and consultant meetings and represent the company professionally.
• Ensure proper project documentation and successful project handover.
• Mandatory Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project management.
• Previous project experience in Dubai and the Northern Emirates is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai and Northern Emirates construction practices, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Fluent Arabic and English – Mandatory.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence – Mandatory.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant construction/project management software.

Preferred

• Experience dealing with UAE consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
• Strong knowledge of local construction standards and approval procedures.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE with relevant local project experience will be preferred.

Important: Candidates without previous experience in Dubai and the Northern Emirates will not be considered.
